Discover Card Login Instructions

If you have a Discover card, you can log in to your account and access your account information online. This guide is the simple steps:

Step 1: Website Accessibility

Go to the Discover dashboard on discover.com. The home screen will appear and you will also see the “Secure Account Log in” tab.

Step 2: Provide credentials

Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields. Then select the “Credit Card” account service.

Step 3: Completed Discover Credit Card Process

Click the “Login” button which is orange. Now you can use your account online.

Forgot User ID Or Password 

Don’t worry if you can’t remember this information, Discover can help you retrieve it. The process as below

  1. On the Login tab, click “Forgot User ID/Password“
  2. In the Credit card tab, choose which one you want to recover and click the “Forgot both” link if you forgot everything.
  3. Enter the required information on the next page.
  4. Click Continue

Register My Discover Card Account 

If you do not have a user ID or password after receiving the card, you must register an account. This process takes a while to provide your information as these steps

  1. From the Discover home screen, click the Register Account link located at the bottom of the Login tab
  2. The next tab will show you the type of account, click on the Register Now link which is under the Credit Card tab
  3. Enter the required personal information, such as a 16-digit card number, expiration date, date of birth, and the last 4 digits of the social security number.
  4. Enter captcha and click Continue
  5. Then follow the next step as instruction

Apply for a Discover Credit Card Account

  3. Click the Apply Now button next to the desired credit type.
  4. Enter zip code, last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth
  5. Click Continue
  6. The next page asks for more information. Don’t forget to read the Terms and Conditions and Important Information carefully.
  7. Check to agree to the terms and conditions
  8. Click Submit

Activate My New Discover Card

  1. To get started, go to Discover Active Page
  2. Fill in How do you want to proceed? Sign in or sign out
  3. Then enter your date of birth.
  4. Now enter the last four digits of your SSN.
  5. Then enter the 16-digit card number.
  6. Now enter the expiration date of the card and the 3-digit sequence ID.
  7. When you press the Continue button, your card will be activated

  1. After downloading the app, open it on your mobile device
  2. Click the Login button
  3. Enter your user ID and password. You can set up Touch ID with your fingerprint
  4. Click Login again and you can now successfully log in.

  1. After logging into your account, click on the payment link. This will take you to a separate page where you can edit the details of your credit card payments
  2. Enter the amount you want to pay. Look at your existing card balance, shown at the top of the page, to determine how much money you want to earn. You must enter at least the specified minimum amount to be accepted.
  3. When you’re done, click the “Submit Payment” button to submit your payment information for processing

Discover Credit Card Bill Pay by Mail

  1. Separate the pay slip from your monthly paperless statement.
  2. Fill out a check or money order with your minimum monthly payment.
  3. Please address your envelope to the Discover Financial Services Department.
  4. When providing recipient information, be sure to include the address of Discover’s corporate headquarters and not the corporate or regional office. The address is PO Box 6103, Carol Stream, IL 60187-6103
  5. Mail your pay 7-10 business days before it is due.
